  After a tune-up (and the purchase of a new chain), chain was still skipping when in the lowest gear. They were going to charge $14 for a replacement part to fix the issue but then agreed to not charge for it when the mechanic was reminded that we did mention that specific problem when we brought the bike in. I appreciated that since I'd just spent $166 on the bike. Also they do good work; the bike rides like new

  The best bicycle shop we have ever been! We were absolutely desperate to go cycling but on of our bikes had a bent wheel so we looked up for a bicycle shop and saw this had good reviews. We went to the shop and the staff were helpful, joyful and fun to be around. They fixed the bike in under 20 minutes and were really happy about doing it. The reviews were exactly right about the shop. The overall experience was great and i recommend people to go there if they love cycling.

  Great People. Staff and ownership of Bicycle Stand offer excellent service, advise, and product. Very friendly and low pressure. They have expertise in vintage and classic bikes. However they also sell and service new Giant, Bianchi, Brompton, Linus, and others. Bicycles may seem simple but coupled with humans, they're complex machines used in a wide variety of ways by all sorts of people.   One of the coolest shops ever. Very nice and knowledgeable staff. They offer everything from classic bikes, folding bikes, e-bikes to cutting edge carbon bikes. I just come here to hang out every week because the staff is awesome and they have a cool bar-like setup where you can sit and talk to other super cool customers after you're done shopping. Highly, highly recommend.

  Hands down the best buying experience I've ever had! As a Long Beach transplant coming from the Midwest, I don't know a thing about bicycles. That didn't stop the owners from being unbelievably hospitable and showing me what type of bike I needed, how to use accessories and locks, and even some places to ride and local places to check out! If everyone in Long Beach is like this, I'm in for a heavenly living situation. Please support local, amazing owners like this!
