  I loved going to the Alaska Club East. Front Desk Staff are always friendly! This was my first time getting a gym membership with this gym and every time I had questions membership accounting always had the answers I was looking for. But I definitely do recommend reading the fine print before signing anything.

  Not happy about deciding to renew the membership after cancelling the membership we had for 3 years. I try to come here hot tub in the pool area to unwind a bit and watch my kids swim. Wouldn't you know it the same problems continue for 4 or more running years. The hot tub in the pool area seems to always be broken. The staff either lie or are incompetent when you call and ask if the hot tub in the pool area is working. The mens family locker room showers lack adequate hot water. The "Gauntlet", which I seen being used this weekend, in the pool, had mold and mildew stains all over it. I don't recommend this club to anybody. In fact, I regret even giving Alaska Club another chance. One thing was consistent, however, and that was Mike and how dedicated and proud example of what a professional team member should be. If only the management would follow his example, the Ak Club could be a wonderful thriving place.

  I've been a member of The Alaska Club since 2015. Every day I am greeted by name and a genuine inquiry about how my day is going so far. From the clean team to the executive team, the staff at The Alaska Club is rooting for your success in wellness. The members at The Alaska Club East treat each other like family and you can see it the group fitness classes, you can hear it in the locker room, and you can feel it in the weight room. Members openly cheer each other on, share equipment, and lend a helping hand. This positive daily energy is what lead me to join the team and it has been a great career move. My supervisor is knowledgeable, thoughtful, and challenges me everyday. I feel lucky to be surrounded by a team that is truly dedicated to changing lives through fitness.

  Awesome facility, great staff, would happily give 5 but unfortunately the hydro massage is always broken. Edited to 5

  Just know the terms of the contract before you sign, there is crazy fine print here. Overall they provide what they claim but it is not cheap to be a member.
