  The Thaxton did an outstanding job as the host venue to my daughter's wedding and reception last weekend. The entire staff was super-friendly and their professionalism was second-to-none. The high level of service we experienced is only possible when team leaders are truly committed to their customer's happiness, and treat the rest of the team good. This must be a great place to work. I'm from Ohio (never been to St Louis), but Kim & Mad Dog immediately made me feel like we were old friends in town for a good time. Kim - please let everyone there know how much we appreciated their efforts.

  We had our Sorority Spring Formal here and it was absolutely wonderful. The staff was easy to work with and they were quite accommodating with our requests. For a small group of 60ish people we had a lot of fun and would definitely come here again in the future for other events.

  I rented the Thaxton for a sorority date party and it was extremely successful! The staff is very accommodating and professional. We had a slight problem with security, and they really helped us to keep things under control and have a fun and safe event despite changes in the plan. The girls also loved the decorations and layout of the Thaxton, which was perfect for our event. I would highly recommend the Thaxton for any party venue.

  Found this place by a suggestion from a bartender at another establishment. Got a a little nervous going down the alley to get there but we gave the password and all was well. Really cool place downstairs with a great speakeasy theme. Atmosphere was great. If you go there make sure and tell the door man Dante that the "Big Cheese" from Wisconsin says hey.

  We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Thaxton. Everything about the venue was fantastic. The staff (Peter, Mad Dog, and Kim) was especially great to work with. They were responsive to every question that we had and made the planning process extremely easy. From answering questions about the schedule to working with our vendors (some of whom had never worked a wedding at The Thaxton), Peter made everything flow seamlessly. My wife and I received so many compliments from family and friends, that I can't begin to tell you how happy we are. Our guests were gushing not only about the venue itself, which is amazing, but about the staff and the entire evening. The evening was relaxed, fun, and exactly what we imagined. I would recommend anyone who is planning a wedding consider The Thaxton.
