  Great school, have a nephew who goes there graduation ceremony was out of this world, great fun part of Houston too

  Coming from an undergrad at Morehouse College in Atlanta (C'15) to pursue a Masters in Urban Planning and Environmental Policy. I walked away from a promising (read: soul-sucking) career in financial services to continue my education at an HBCU in a field I am passionate about: the environment. My professors are the top in the environmental field and the affordability of a public institution made the career change an easy decision. I remember my first day at TxSU and it's been like a second home to me. To those pursuing undergraduate degrees: don't be deterred by adversity. You are doing the right thing and you are building a brighter future for yourself. Sometimes things get hard but dig deep and you will have a promising career upon graduation. Always keep in mind the possibility of continuing your education at the graduate level. Good luck!

  No one responds to emails nor phone calls. Tried the dean's office, specific departments, etc but no luck. I'll try the janitor, maybe he'll be professional enough to respond to a query.

  Great school! The best years of my life were at Texas southern university. The professors really care about the students well being and are supportive. They have a great jazz studies program.
