I have eaten in ALL the best restaurants and shopped in all the green markets and best bakeries, nothing can touch Terranova's bread. It is addictive and goes with everything. A superb bread and bakery.

::Terranova bakery is a "must stop" for your 187th Street / Arthur Avenue tour! I've been going there for over 30 years and LOVE them. They have a variety of freshly made bread products, all of which will keep you coming back for years. The staff is warm and friendly, always greeting you with that calm smile no matter how crowded the store may be. They also have fresh frozen home made pasta products which are also unsurpassed. I LOVE their ravioli. The filling is rich and creamy (some tend to be more cottage cheese like consistency) and they are shaped round, which makes them easier to handle IMHO. Remember to buy some extra bread sticks for the ride home!
