  Disappointed! Lady cut my hair strait into a bob when I asked to leave the front with a very much longer look. She yelled at me saying she didn't cut the front when its obvious my right half was still long. I just stood up and tried to explain to her that she overcut my hair and she kept talking over me so I just walked out.

  I bring my family here every few weeks (husband and son’s hair, trim up my daughter’s bangs). Today I got my own hair cut too. it’s run by two sisters and they always take walk ins I think, but it seems like most of the people who come in are regulars. Originally came here about a year ago, because it’s the only asian salon that is affordable and everyone else always messes up my husband’s hair because of the different texture. We went to a normal barber once and he complained for two weeks until it grew back out, and I’m tired of doing his haircuts lol. Anyways, we always go with the sister with the short hair, the other one seems to take more of the regulars and isn’t as cheerful. She always asks me how we want it before and makes sure during if there’s anything else (style, sideburns, etc). For example if you say short she doesn’t go too far so if you want it shorter you can tell her. If you say leave the top alone she asks even before trimming it up and when she’s done she’ll ask if you want her to gel style it. For my hair I showed her a few pictures and told her I wanted it thinned out, but mainly I just let her have at it (she checked with me every so often during the process and showed me how much she was taking off) and for $8 you just get the cut (shampoo and cut is $14 I believe and so on) so I didn’t see what it looked like styled until I got home, but it’s perfect. Normally, for the past 10 years, I’ve always gone to my old boss to cut my hair but she’s in Scottsdale now and charges $40 for a cut, so after not getting my hair cut for a couple of years, I was really tired of it and said, “What the hell, Let’s do it!” Surprisingly happy with my hair now. Perfect length and it styles just how I wanted. No more “mom ponytails” for me for a while. If you’re not upfront with your stylist from the get go, they have no way to know how you want your hair. I’m towards the end of my 20s now, I have no problem telling someone if I’m not happy with my hair before I leave, but I actually didn’t have to say anything here. Anyways, 10000000x better than dealing with the idiots at great clips or something and that level of hating your hair. Oh and CASH ONLY btw.

  Asked if I can come in for color, said her sister wasn’t there, I can go in on Wednesday... no.... NEXXXXXT!

  I always get scissor trims. Woman insisted that I go short. I told her about half an inch off the sides and back. Then she starts yelling asking how I want it HER WAY. Seriously, stay away from these Asian places. They don't even do a good job and they always talk trash about their customers. If you're a woman or non Asian guy, you'll be fine. Don't let the low price fool you though. The woman is mean and rude as hell.
