    Horrifying bank with zero customer service. I’m switching to the first national bank of Long Island. I hear they actually care about their customers.

    Atlantic avenue TD employees come in late and leave early every day. The wait time was close to 45 minutes because there were only three people working.

    My business partner has been cashing checks at TD for a few years now. He usually cash his checks at the 86th St and Columbus Ave location on the Upper West Side, where he ALWAYS get good service from the employees there; Mark, Nikki, and Tasha to name a few. Today, since we had a business meeting in Downtown Brooklyn, he decided to go to that location as we usually do when we are in that area. He walked in the location at 252 Atlantic Ave about 1:45pm today and saw a lady to the left of the teller area. He walked up to her politely, said good morning with a smiling face as usual, signed his check, handed it to her and made her aware that he was there to cash his check at the same moment handing her his ID. She looked at my his check and made a call. He stood there for about 10 minutes without her explaining what she was doing, but he assumed she was new and making verification calls according to what he overheard her saying on the phone, with the two calls she made. At no time did she explain anything to him or apologized for him waiting. Eventually after getting off the phone he took it upon himself to ask her if there was an issue with the check, she responded with an attitude that this is something 'we' all have to do. He explain that he comes to TD at least once a week to cash his checks, he never had this issue, this was the only reason he asked. She responded again with an attitude that this is what she has to do. He ignored her attitude and waited a little while again for her to continue to do what she was doing. After she was done, she tossed his license to him. He then got angry and raised his voice at that moment telling her not to throw anything at him and that she needs better customer service etc., she started to curse at him and told him do not raise my voice. The security person then came over and told him to 'chill'. He responded that he does not have to chill, I he is the customer, and he's getting poor customer service for 20 minutes now, he needed to address these concerns, since no one was saying anything about the events that occured to lead up to this point. The Hispanic girl then went off on him again while all of this was unfolding, cursing and telling him that she will clock out and both he and her can take this outside etc... She did not stop acting unprofessional and ghetto until an older bank employee came and told her that she needs to stop and had to eventually remove her from the front of the bank into the back to calm her down. He has made several complaints to the emails provided online to see what can be done with this situation. He has NEVER experienced such a terrible experience at 'America's Most Convenient Bank' since he has been a customer. He would like for this to be investigated and proper procedures taken to see that this young lady receives the proper consequences for her poor judgement, and poor customer service.

    My reason for one star is. Website stated bank opens at 7:30 am. I waited and waited at 7:30 am bank didn't open. I finally left at 7:50 am Hours of operation should be posted on the door to this branch 😞

    Awful Experience, even though the line was incredibly long they only had two people at the main desk and one customer service person. After waiting in line for 20 minutes because my card stopped working I was told I had to wait again and put my name down for customer service just to get my card reprinted. At least put more people at the desk.
