I strongly recommend TFX. They saved me thousands of dollars on my 2017 taxes and are experts in handling expatriates' returns. My preparer, Andrew Coleman, did an excellent job and patiently answered my questions about the TFX process. I usually do my own taxes, but expat returns are complex and a specialist job -- I would not have known how to do the things TFX did. The firm's owner, Ines Zemelman, is closely involved and when an unusual situation arose for me, she handled it very well. You can trust TFX. 2017 was my first experience with them and it was extremely good. -- John F. Howe

Not as great after the second or third year the quality of the services has dropped as I thought it was almost solved for the most recent issues that happened when my last years filing. There is a lack of communication between the clients and the employees as I have no idea about taxes is why you hired this company to file my tax. The agent didn't have much communication regarding my filing or how I was getting my income and no deductibles was added to my independent work and many missing information that can help me with taxes and was confused and explained what I did for work and how I am married and I asked what is the best option but I got no response and the document were sent for me today signed and it's filed. Now since the lack of communication and errors on my taxes, I was asked to pay $100 on top of what I had already paid and there is no way I would pay $100 for lack of communication and understanding of my taxes and errors. Careful before filing here, I'm back in the states and I have learned so much that what I have missed in my last years taxes expenses and also I didn't know what does head of house means or filing jointly or what is the difference or what's my current situation and what's best for me as a client, as I had when I first tried this service
