  Most of the employees are very nice but they charge entirely too much for their service bottom line. I was initially told I would have to pay close to $600 to file and then I was able to get a discount and was told my total fees would be $160 with the check option. When I actually received my refund check the fees ended up around $285.... (check cashing fees of $80 and another $25 fee) The male manager that was super helpful and nice and willing to make the issue right but when I called back days later and spoke with the female branch manager she was not helpful or seemed to not to really care. I’m sad because I’ve used this place in the past without issue, my returns aren’t complex at all and took a good 15 minutes to complete. I work hard for my money therefore I’m going with FREE OL TURBO TAX next year and won’t be returning sadly, I can’t afford to.

  I have filed my taxes with Tax One Office for the past three years and the service there has always been great. This tax year was a little different. I don’t know if your company has grown or it was entirely too busy. I faxed my tax information March 25, 2013 and also called to confirm that it was received. When I called the employee that answered said everything was received and ready to be filed. I called and talked to Christina and was told that she was reviewing my information. I didn’t hear anything back for several weeks. I called again on April 15th to make sure everything was ok. I talked to Christina again and she said that she got an extension on my refund and will be working on it. I called a week later and another lady told me it was completed and that I would be receiving 1800 dollars back but they was waiting on funding. I called back several times since then and left messages to be contacted back. It is now May 30 and I still haven’t got my tax return. I ended up calling the IRS because I couldn’t reach you guys or get any return calls. The IRS informed me that my 2012 tax return was never filed and they never received it. I was very upset. I didn’t understand how the lady told me how much I was getting back but never filed my tax return. I will no longer be using your company because this was a major headache. I was depending on that money for school expenses and now I will have to file on my own. For future references your company needs to be more considered of your clients: answer phone calls, return phone calls, and don’t lie about the amount being returned.
