  I love the customer service at this store. I was always hesitant with going to a Target store, since my first experience was the Palisades Mall Target and they always had terrible customer service but this store has friendly, attentive customer service that actually helps me to find my items and they always had my items ready quickly and efficiently for the online pick up. I also never had expired items from them and they always made any returns effortless, when I always had to fight with the other Target store even though I always had my receipts for my returns. I highly recommend this place, just for the customer service alone; I never seen the associates just loitering around like other Target stores; instead the associates are always working on organization of items and it shows because he store is spotless and clean and the new construction has added a larger and easier to find customer service desk that always has a attendant to help, which I love as a person that utilizes online pick up; it's nice to be able to scan my receipt, get my groceries, and leave without any long wait.

  IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD. THE RUDE WOMAN AT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT WAS EXTREMELY RUDE TO MY MOTHER AND EVEN CALLED HER A RACIAL SLUR. SHE WENT TO RETURN A FITBIT AND HAD TO WAIT AT LEAST 20 MINUTES TO BE UP NEXT BECAUSE THE WOMAN WANTED TO SOCIALIZE WITH ANOTHER CO WORKER. SHE WENT TO THE DESK TO RETURN IT AND UPON FURTHER INSPECTION THE WOMAN FAILED TO REFUND THE FULL AMOUNT. AND WHEN MY MOTHER NOTICED THE AMOUNT WAS OFF AND ASKED FOR IT TO BE CORRECTED POLITELY, THE WOMAN GAVE AN ATTITUDE AND BEGAN BERATING MY MOTHER WITH INSULTS AND RACIAL SLURS. I'D LIKE TO THINK WE LIVE IN A VERY PROGRESSIVE TOWN WHERE ANYBODY CAN FEEL SAFE FOR BEING WHO THEY ARE AND WHERE THEY'RE FROM. MY FAMILY AND I WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER CENT AT TARGET AND I WILL BE SPREADING THIS STORY BECAUSE THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR AND RACISM IN MY TOWN WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.

  Currently under renovation as of today, so don't expect the world coming in if it's close to the date I wrote this. That said, your average Target with everything you need. Large space and easy to shop. Lots of other stores nearby as well!

  Used to be former employee, more then 10 years ago. Used to like shopping at Target even after I left the job. Used to do my weekly grocery shopping there, for many years. However, the store's reliance on Self Checkout and lack of human cashiers, and the extremely long lines (sometimes 20+ people long) and the extremely long wait to checkout, has caused me to stop shopping there. Now I shop elsewhere. Where they have appropriate number of cashiers, and I spend less money too, which is a plus for me. I might come to the Spring Valley Target for the rare items that they don't have elsewhere, and only on sporadic occasions when I'm sure that there isn't crazy lines. Hopefully management smartens up when they realize that they are going to lose life long customers.
