The St. Louis Target is clean and friendly like most other Targets. However, shelves aren't as well stocked -especially in the grocery department. I usually bring my own bags or backpack to reduce using plastic or paper bags, but this store doesn't even offer paper bags on the chance customers forget. You are forced to use plastic bags, not cool! This is the main reason I will avoid this Target and probably wean off Target in general. The company as a whole is just not progressive enough with being environmentally friendly. Certainly better than Walmart but still lacking.

Bought a bike on line and brought it in to a target to get it built (even though online it said it would come already built) last week. I called multiple times to see if they were done. They said not yet. A week later I get a call saying they can't build the bike, even though they told me they were working on it. They then told me to call other Targets to see if they can build it. I looked online and the St. Louis park says that they can build this type of bike. I called, the first person to answer laughed and said their bikes are already made. I explained the situation and she said We don't do that but I will transfer you to someone. I got transferred over, and a guy said that the bike team isn't in. I asked if he knew the time and he said no. I asked if he could look it up, or ask someone and he said he couldn't do that. I then asked if I could leave my information and he said no because they don't have phones that can make out going calls. Even though he was speaking to me over the phone and I have had them call me in different situations and the last target called me back. I asked if I could bring in the bike and leave it there so when the bike people come in they can look at it. he said no and just hung up on me.

This target constantly seems to be under-stocked. Every time I come here it seems like all of the shelves have been ransacked like it’s Black Friday. I rarely find what I’m looking for. But I give this location two stars instead of one simply because it’s the only place I can find a wide selection of PopSockets in various colors, and no other Target that I frequent (which is a lot, I LOVE Target) ever has a decent selection of PopSockets. That may not matter to everyone, but that particular product is important to me because I have a large phone and small hands, and multiple phone cases that each kind of need their own one because switching them from case to case to case makes them not stick. Anyways, I suppose the staff at this target are about as friendly as any other, one guy in particular was particularly helpful with a return I wanted to make but was still unsure about. He recommended I go to the bathroom or a fitting room and try it on one more time and see if I’m in love with it, can’t live with out or — if it’s just okay and I could do better. I tried it on in the bathroom to be quick, and realized the garment was actually really itchy and that alone would prevent me from wearing it because I know that I won’t wear uncomfortable textures against my skin. So that helped! Though I did return some shorts I wished I hadn’t because he said they looked like pajamas... A Target is a target though but definitely some are better than others. They do have really nice bathrooms at this location, what’s up with that? Is that an Edina thing? Why not have nice bathrooms at the Ridgedale location in Minnetonka, another rich area? Makes no sense.
