  This company sucks! I put in an e mail to shut off my acct it took 3 e mails then tried to tell me I had to wait Another 30 days before it could b closed! If you'd read ur da!m e mail it wood of been closed already Theieves

  Buyer beware! I purchased a Groupon for $75 for three months of unlimited silver-level. I went to the Portland W. Burnside location to use the Groupon. The staff was polite and the facility nice. I specifically asked how it worked after the three months were up. I was told that it would be month-to-month, implying that I could just cancel when I want after the initial 3 months. This was a lie. When you activate the Groupon deal with them, you're tied into a yearlong commitment, something they do not disclose, then billing you $40+ a month. This is a total bait-and-switch situation. I contacted them directly to rectify the situation and was told to contact their 'customer service' guy named 'Zack.' After several emails/voice mail I have never been contacted. This prompted me to review comments on various sites including the Better Business Bureau (they have an 'F' rating), Groupon comments, Google, Facebook, etc. The recurring theme is the same - it is overwhelmingly clear Tan Republic is running a scam and does not care about the customers - just your money. My advice - steer clear and support a company that doesn't lie and scam people.
