As a member of the community for 19 years I've enjoyed this place every time. Best bean and cheese in San Antonio. And it's family owned.

I have mixed feelings about this place. My husband and I go for breakfast during every San Antonio visit, but the service is horrible. They take forever to come and take your order then you wait an hour to get the food and they rarely refill your drink. It's a shame because the food is great, when they aren't forgetting things you ordered. I honestly think the owner needs to step up and properly train his wait staff and show he actually cares about his business..

Amazing Ralphie tacos I think they are called. Shredded chicken with marinated cabbage on a lightly fried home made corn tortilla. Can't wait to go back!

Today 03/31/2018 me and my wife went to eat lunch. What I consider to be one of the best restaurant at one time had so major discrepancy. First the food was cold. The enchiladas were made with sliced cheese that wasn't melted. The rice definitely needed major improvement, it as dry, cold and stuck together. The piece of meat used on the Dave's special was dry, cold. with no flavor. I will stop here. I would said need new cooks Jerry, and have waiters monitor food going to tables. This is the last time I go there. Price is average, if food was prepared with feeling and not to just get it to the customers.

Local establishment for sure. Far different than Mexican restaurants in Oregon- warm salsa? No hot sauce? Pork and bean soup as a side with fajitas? Still really enjoyed the pork fajitas. Only got 2 flour tortillas with the fajitas, but they were thick and hand made.
