  I usually get the smothered pork chop, but you can't go wrong with anything in the house. I love the atmosphere here and the fact that the owners still work at the shop. Definitely in my top 3 favorite restaurants in Nashville. No make it my very favorite.

  I have lunch there every week. Food is delicious, staff is friendly and service is superb. I can get through (cafeteria) line, eat and get back to work well within an hour. (Quicker than 'fast food').👍👍👍👍👍

  I just left Swett's and was not impressed at all. The service was not the good. Smiles and customer service go hand and hand. The food was nothing to brag about greens weren't seasoned, the cabbage had a lot of spices: pepper and red pepper, but that didn't keep them from being bland. The cornbread was a huge dry muffin without any taste or moisture and the cornbread dressing was full of sage and pepper. I was throughly disappointed. All of the food looked as if it had been on the steam table for quite some time. The building needs a good cleaning. I will not return for another heaping of disappointment.

  Swett's has good food with a cozy atmosphere. The place has some historical aspect to it, that can be seen throughout the building. The staff is always friendly and helpful. This is a great place to go if you're looking for a soul food-menu. - source - repeat visitor
