  My husband and I recently just purchased our second home. We used Angela Wilson both times. Not only was she there for us nearly 24/7, she had every question answered as soon as we asked them. We could not have been any happier in both occasions. I would recommend her to anyone.

  Just had an experience that I hope no other family should have to go through. After looking for houses to rent in the north Peoria area for months, we finally settled on picking a home in Vistancia. During our search we contacted a Gary Swallows home for lease based on a sign in the front we happened to drive by. We set an appointment to see the home with Angela the realtor. Upon entering the home it appeared that the last tenants had just moved out that day and left the home in shambles. Angela had explained that the property owner had just cleaned the home and offered to let her company clean the home before we move in. During our discussion about the property she had made it very clear that the property price has been lower and compared others in the area for less money and lower price that had just rented. So her advise was to ask for a lower price on this one. We had made it very clear multiple times that our credit was not in great condition (just discharged BK) and Angela reassured that this is not a problem. We even offered to supply a co-signer if needed. Her instructions to apply online after were simple. Later that evening we applied online and filed out both of our information on the Swallows website. The online process had me input both of our information and only required one application fee. upon paying that I notified Angela it was complete and she said Susan in the office will contact me the following day. The next day we received contact stating we needed a second application for my wife even though it was all online already. I then asked in four different ways if our credit will not an issue, according to both Angela and Susan it would not. Susan stated that they are not the property managers and just give the information to the property owner. Susan then stated that she has other applications that are ready to move in now. I asked if she could simply talk to the property owner and explain our situation before we spend almost $100 on applications. Her response was, "The owner will not be available to speak to and the move in will have to be pushed back 3 days because of that. So if he can't be reached then there is now way to explain anything to him!" I once more asked that in her professional experience based on what I had explained, will we be wasting money applying for this home. She said that there are other people applying so we need to do this by 3pm that day or they will approve the next application. With the high pressure sales applied we went ahead and finalized the applications. I even went out of my way to show on time payments for a credit dispute. Within one hour of the last phone call Susan emailed back and stated the owner rejected our application and will not accept a co-signer (even though that is on the website). The amazing part is that Susan could not reach out to the owner before collecting our money but once it was in her hands he answers the call??? For some reason Susan was able to send out the rejection notification but when we contacted the office she had left before it was emailed out to us. I cannot in good conscious recommend this company to anyone looking to rent a home. Maybe this will get noticed by Mr. Swallows and he can address the issue in his office before the next family gets taken advantage of.

  This is the second time I've worked with Gary and Carolyn and I do not want to use anyone else. I purchased my first home in AZ with them back in '08. I recently put that house up for sale thinking it would take forever and I wouldn't make any money. It sold in 8 days AND I made a profit! They helped me purchase my dream home while making the whole process fun and easy. They're a great couple and they feel like family.

  I am so grateful that a friend referred me to Tabor when I began my journey to either rent or purchase a home. Tabor was always available and took me to numerous listings that she found for me. She is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions and concerns. When I found the house to purchase she walked me through each step, referred me to extremely qualified professionals to assist in the purchase process, and showed great empathy and concern when life's challenges happened during the process.
