::This restaurant used to be named Sushi & Sake on the east side but it moved to Nob Hill (a grittier but much trendier location) and is now called, simply, Korean BBQ House. I love their specialty rolls, of which they have many. In particular, I recommend trying the Orange Ball, Sushi Station, and Nob Hill roll. What makes this restaurant one of my local favorites is the fact that they have both great sushi rolls and Korean BBQ - and they do both well. The owner works her tail off every day and I have no idea how she knows so many recipies for such a broad variety of food. The decor is pretty authentic, which is the humble opinion of someone who lived in Los Angeles for most of his life and has had a lot of experience in all of the legendary Korean BBQ restaurants that defined the niche cuisine in its culinary mecca. The first time I walked in, I was impressed that this existed in ABQ. The city could do a better job with improving Nob Hill, but that has nothing to do with Korean BBQ House. I like this location for this restaurant, as it is an exciting addition to the variety of restaurants that make Nob Hill so fun. I know the owner cannot run this business alone forever, but until things change (I hope it remains a "home-cooked meal" type of restaurant for many years to come), I highly recommend you stop by and give it a try. Just be patient during peak hours. No one wants to work anymore, and I can tell the owner is doing her best. Every night she is in the kitchen cooking these delicious meals for us, and I for one am grateful for this gem of a restaurant in Duke City.

::My boyfriend and I like this place! His favorite dishes: tonkatsu (breaded pork cutlet), spicy tuna roll and bibimbup. Mine - ika surume (hard to find at other Asian places!) grilled whole squid 🦑😻

::Can't believe it took me so long to find out about this Nob Hill neighborhood gem. Great food. Good service even tho short staffed. Reasonable prices. Will definitely be back. Buy local!

::First time at this new location. Sushi was good but our favorite were the green muscles. The staff was also friendly.
