  My first contact with the staff at this Sur La Table location was over the phone with Devin, the store manager. I was searching for a particular Demeyere saucepan that was no longer available online or at other stores in the US. Knowing that I would drive down 120 miles just to pick up the saucepan, Devin was friendly and patient enough to search for the last piece and set it aside for me. He was consistently personable when I arrived in store the next day, and he even took the time to look for and recommend a matching Demeyere steamer insert. I was impressed not only by his amiability and excellent customer service, but also by his expertise in cookware materials as he explained the longevity of the different brands of steamers. My long trip to the store was worth it because of the politeness, professionalism and excellent interpersonal communication skills of Devin and his staff. Though I am a long-time Williams-Sonoma customer, WS's consistently poor customer service has made me switch over to Sur La Table for all my cooking needs from hereon.
