Mom (Colleen Dexter) had prepurchased plots, a casket, burial, all the different things that go along with funerals many years ago. Some of the arrangements had fixed prices, some were subject to inflation. Initially quite confusing, Eric stepped in, explained everything in terms my sister and I could understand. Not only did they hold the prices to what was paid at the time when they didn't have to, we upgraded Mom's casket to the tune of $1,000, and still ended up with a $300 refund. Money aside, he made us feel comfortable, and made everything as simple as possible. A big THANKS for that!

Truly spectacular place, on memorial day the cemetery was so beautiful and the staff served free hotdogs to all of the people who visited. At first we all thought it was a bit strange, but everyone was so kind and helpful to my family! Thank you for taking such great care of us.

Beautiful place for my loved ones to rest. The funeral directors are the most professional and courteous people in the Portland area! The service and care were beyond expectations. I highly recommend Sunset Hills Memorial Park!!!

My family and I were very unhappy with the service we got here when my father passed. First off, the people they sent to remove him from our home when he had passed asked if he were wearing jewelry, and we told them he was wearing a wedding ring. They never gave us the ring although they said they'd leave it with us, and later when my mom asked about it they said he wasn't wearing one. Well...bullshit...he wore it for 29 years and we searched the house, it is not there. They stole it. My mom went there twice to deal with arrangements and she said she felt welcomed, until after she paid, and then they basically stopped wanting to be helpful. They are manipulative, cruel, and only out for money. If you have a choice, go somewhere else.
