  Honestly I have been coming here for years, opting out of the one on 16th st. (which is good, but being on 16th it is incredibly busy which in turn makes it a lot harder to clean.) this location is always clean, I am on a first name bassis with most of the staff who are always polite and accommodating. I have had bad experiences at Subways in the past, but neverhave I had an issue with this one!

  Went in yesterday and a female employee was behind the counter swearing, complaining about her job and the customers, and making a big scene. Her coworker appeared embarrassed by her behavior, and the customers were all looking at each other confused. I left, but then decided to go back later to get her name for a complaint. There was a long line of customers, and she was in the back, apparently on a break. When her coworker asked her for help, she came out of back with a cigarette hanging out of her mouth. This was behind the counter. On a separate incident, my coworker went there and was served spinach with a clump of dirt in it. Yes, dirt.

  I usually visit here simply because of its convenience to my hotel. Unfortunately my visit today was less than average. The oven was broken so the Subway sandwich that I usually get couldn't be toasted. My sub sandwich ended up being okay but wasn't quite as good as it could have been. In addition to that, the syrup for the coke was out as well. The line of customers was too long for me to interrupt the staff to have them change out the syrup so I opted for another drink.

  The staff is friendly and fast. They don't have a public restroom which I've never minded. The store has a very casual atmosphere and I never feel pressured to spend more than I want. The place is always very clean aside from the occasional bum, but this is downtown after all. Weighing the pros and construction I can't help but give it high marks.

  I eat at this subway 3-5 times a week. The staff are consistently good, they deal with all my special requests, and they're always speedy. This is still a subway, not a 5 star restaurant. But by subway standards, one of the best I've been to.
