  This is the worst experience I've had with any business owner. I went here because my grandmother has used the owner, Austin for years and he was known as a family friend. Our conversations began around September 20, 2016. I told him I had 2 chairs that I wanted to fix. I just wanted to change the fabric, I instructed him to keep the padding (because the sofas he wrapped for my grandmother years prior feel like you're sitting on concrete) and to fix the wood, keep the same color but fix the damaged areas because the previous owners had put duct tape on the back and legs of the chair. On Sept 21, 2017 I sent him a picture of the chairs and a few days later he came and picked up the chairs. I asked him several times if I could get them before my birthday because I wanted to throw a small dinner party at my apartment, he told me yes, you'll have it by October 15 and he charged me $460. We gave him a deposit of $200 when we went to pick out the fabric during the last week of September. He didn't give us a receipt and I didn't press the issue because he was a "family friend". DAYS and Weeks went by with me calling and texting him to get an update on my chairs, he never returned texts, didn't answer several phone calls and didn't check voicemails. After a while I realized the 2 weeks that he told me was not realistic and I wasn't going to get my chairs in time for my party. I had to go down to his store to find my chairs were still in the same condition as when I gave them to him. There has been back and forth since September 21, 2016. Him losing his phone, him not picking up my calls but picking up my mom's phone calls. That's when he told her the fabric I picked out they didn't have anymore, (we're in Nov now) and I had to come down and pick out another fabric. I reluctantly had to pick a fabric I didn't want and he told me I'll have the fabric in 2-3 days and he needs 2 days to wrap the chairs. He told me you'll have the chairs before Christmas. I didn't. Last week I went over to his shopped and saw my chairs still weren't finished AND he changed the color of the wood. Today is January 14, 2017 and I received my chairs on Thursday January 12th. My mother called him to check in since he would ignore my calls and he told her I'll drop them off tomorrow at 1. This conversation took place around 1030pm and she relayed that message to me around 11pm. Thursday, January 12th, at 2:30 the dropped my chairs off and I told him I'll drop the rest of the money off Saturday. He proceeded to raise his voice and tell me I can't do that, I shouldn't have told him that I needed a day and a half to drop of $260. I told him if it was an issue he can have his guys take the chairs back until I drop the remainder of the money of on Saturday afternoon and hung up the phone. (He didn't tell his guys to take the chairs back) After 3 months of waiting for my chairs he had an issue with waiting a day and a half for the balance. My boyfriend went and dropped off the money Saturday, January 14, 2017 and at 2:25pm he told me Austin won't give me a receipt and he was trying to argue with me that he had to wait 2 days for money and I didn't ask for a receipt when they dropped off the chairs, so why do I want a receipt now? so I just gave him the money and left. If you want someone to play hide and seek, miss deadlines, and give you the run around and not give you a simple receipt by all means go here. If you want quality and good customer service GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!
