  We highly recommend Straub,Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home. We worked mainly with Kristin Catalano, who was compassionate, patient and understanding during a time when we were struggling through the bereavement process. The entire staff was helpful, and the wake and service of our loved one was handled professionally and with great respect. They truly made a difference to our family, and we are grateful for their expertise and caring during this difficult time.

  When our mother passed away, we knew we wanted to have her funeral arrangements provided by Straub, Catalano & Halvey, because our father's arrangements had been handled there 25 years ago. Our experience, now with our mom, under the care of funeral directors Kristin Catalano and Bill Halvey, was professional, caring and comforting. We were so impressed and pleased with their attention to all our needs and requests. There were several emails to them at all hours concerning the arrangements, that were very promptly responded to. Bill and Kristin gave our mom everything she wished for in her visitation, funeral Mass and burial. During the Mass and burial, they comforted the family by taking control in a kind and compassionate way, so we were not overwhelmed at any point. We highly recommend Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home.

  I highly recommend Straub, Catalano & Halvey, to anyone and everyone in their time of sorrow. They are simply caring in nature, exemplary in their character, and outstanding in their professionalism. They somehow captured my Mom’s classic beauty, before she got sick. In her repose, she actually looked like she was just resting and conveyed a sense of peace. We’ll be forever grateful for the part they played in making what felt like the worst day of our lives, a much better day in the beautiful way in which they handled her remains and presided over her funeral.
