::It's a nice space, but a cappuccino was over $4 with tax, and when I was the only person there the coffee was burnt. I also asked for it in a cup because I wanted to drink it inside, but the man put it in a to-go cup anyway. This might be nice for meetings or a quick stop, but I'm sorry to say that I won't come back for coffee.

::The coffee was decent and the atmosphere was nice. The seating is comfortable and I really liked the booths they have for privacy. I was there on Halloween and observed an older woman entering the cafe with a few young kids trick or treating. They were black and they did get some candy. What I observed was not racism but confusion on the part of the workers there. I don't believe they expected trick or treaters to come by and weren't sure what to give them. I wasn't there to see the white children get candy and I can only speak for what I saw. I think the influx of one star reviews based on one incident is unfair, especially when I'm almost certain that some of those reviews are from people who have never been inside the place.

::Just a good local place to eat and have a nice meal with the family. Service is good, food nice and hot and fresh. Great location! I've been here now 5 times and I like it a lot! I don't normally do reviews but felt this place was so good I had too!

::To know that a place I called home for the first 18 years of my life, could have gained such ignorance is appalling to me. Gentrification happened right under the noses and on the backs of the very people your turned away. I honestly do no not care if the individual was new and 18 years of age. When there is a work standard in any company, agency, and/or institution that standard is manifested in all employees, new or experienced. Admit that you made a mistake and do not try now to blame someone else for actions that were unsupervised (since you state in your statement that no manager was there) and upon your hiring process you will do better to administer whatever code of conduct you may have that include non-discriminatory policies. Shame on you for not taking responsibility for this and I seriously hope your business suffers because of it.
