  Who doesn't want to start their day at Disney with a bloody Mary and eggs benedict? This Hotel restaurant takes you back in town a little bit. It still has that vintage feel of Disneyland but also feels modern

  My family and I had a great dinner here. Very relaxing after a fun, but loud day at the parks. The cocktails are so tasty and every dish we tried was delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive and very accommodating to any special dietary requests and concerns like nut allergies. If you want the atmosphere of Carthay Circle, but don’t want to buy a ticket to the park, this place is absolutely comparable.

  This restaurant is one of my favorite Disney hidden gems. The minute you walk through the doors you're transported into a new era. The dim lighting and black & white photos make this restaurant feel like old time Hollywood. It's honestly the best restaurant for any intimate celebration or elegant event like dapper days. Personally, I wish this location had a dress code, but since the location is within the DLR expect to see some people dressed very casual. Nonetheless, the restaurant is still stunning. The restaurant takes a couple of walk ins on non peak days, but definitely book a reservation for dinner if you're visiting on a holiday, marathon weekend, or dapper days. SH55 also holds the afternoon tea on weekends, DEFINITELY book in advance. The tea session typically gets booked, especially during the Halloween season (due to the "Trick or Tea" transition) and dates leading up to mother's day. At $50 per adult you can enjoy some delicious pastries, sandwiches, and other fun small bites. Plus you have a large variety of teas to choose from. You could always do the premium package for $65 per adult which would include wine. Service is great. They cast members are very accommodating to any request or dietary restriction. If you want any recommendations for wine pairings, the cast members are happy to assist with any suggestions.

  Really bad experience for vegans. They had an option to mark this when making a reservation and asked us before we were seated to confirm. They told us they had a prepared version of their Premium Tea Party. This lead me to be optimistic that they could accommodate us. They failed miserably. They had a salad that could have easily been made vegan by removing the cheese. Instead they served lettuce and vinegar. Instead of scones, they substituted fruit. Instead of chocolates they substituted the exact same fruit. They also served 3 items that were not vegan.

  Would like to have based this review on an actual meal but after making a reservation and pulling our kids out of a line of a ride to make the reservation we sat in the lounge for over a half hour.... despite being told many times they were “wiping our table”. Finally after our kids were so hungry and we decided pizza was the best bet we were assured by a manager we wouldn’t be charged for reservation. Imagine...showing up early for a reservation....waiting and not getting seated only to be assured you won’t be charged... Thanks Disney.... we appreciate that....
