It's more of a club feel than bar, with the emphasis being the games. Drinks are not cheap, like $4.50 for a 16oz can of PBR. To use credit at the bar is a $10 minimum. Their tokens to play the games are unique, but you can buy them with cash or credit at a machine. Prices on games are great, compared to the drink process, and $5 gets you 20 coins ($0.25/ea) for the cheapest purchase. I went for the first time on a Friday night. IDs were checked at the door. The music was certainly as loud as other reviews mentioned, like club loud, but I'm ok with that and enjoyed their music. The bar was very busy, but it wasn't hard for me to get the two beers I ordered. If you grew up as video games evolved, and you like the idea of clubs but might not be the club type, this place is most definitely for you. This will be one of the first things I think of if my friends want to have a night on the town; though, I don't have as many nights on the town as I did in my twenties.

The Start bar was a great time with friends. We went on a Saturday night and the crowd was crazy, but we could still successfully navigate through the crowd anyway. The food was good, and the servers were pleasant. I recommend people go there and party like they did when they were young enough to enjoy Chucky Cheese.

This was so fun! Im 30 and the crowd was young but not pretentious. Games everywhere and an upstairs couch to sit with your friends and play console games. I went with a group on Taco Tuesday for taco and tequila specials. It was a drive for me and my husband, but worth it!

This place has great pizza and drink specials. The staff is always helpful and funny. The games are decent and the majority of the games controls work so that's always a plus. Great cheap date night

Good mix of people, good music. Generally a younger early 20s crowd. Saturday is heavy on rap, but I'm a fan of the music mix. Good games. Wasn't too crowded at 9. Drinks are pretty strong, not watered down, no cover, at least not early.
