::My boyfriend and I were doing laundry and realised we had not gotten enough change for the coin-operated machine. It was late so I had little hope. I chose Starbucks and asked the barista for help. She asked me what I needed exchanged and the smallest I had was a $20 bill... She then finished the drinks that had been ordered and then took her time to count $10 in 25 cents and gave me 10 $1 bills. I don’t know another server who would have given the same service! Before that we visited a bar where the bartender was groggy about even splitting up a $1 bill in 25 cents... Stephanie, it is because of you that this Starbucks deserves my 5-star rating! Starbucks is lucky to have you. I realise I was asking for a lot but you went out of your way to help. Thank you for helping a foreigner in need!

::Love Starbucks and all their drinks I also heard of their secret menu and you can ask for it but you have to know what's in the drink so they can make it for you.

::This is my spot right here. Staff is great, service is quick and great. They open early hours so if you are not a morning person and need a pick-me-up, this is the spot to visit!!!! Smack in the middle of Wilshire and Normandie.

::Always busy but not freezing cold and plenty of power outlets for changing laptop or phone. Most people get their coffee and leave. Occasionally homeless find their way and without buying anything. This is overall problem in LA for any coffee shop. Update: went in to use bathroom and was told only if purchased something. I spoke to DM and there's no such policy. The staff lied and should be fired. Homeless man was told code but I wasn't. Updated: They’ve removed all power outlets. Not good for a busy place at all!
