  I am sure that Mary's actual life must have been a very simple one. Instead of thinking of her as unapproachable, we must realize how truly imitable she was, how outstanding were her virtues, and how she lived by faith as we do. Saint Therese of the Child Jesus, Virgin and Doctor of the Church (1873-1897 A.D.) Prayer: O Mary, your life and virtues are a beacon for us in the stormy night of this world. Help me to try to imitate one virtue of yours each day, starting with your blessed simplicity.
