  It was very neat to see in person! Even larger than imagined. Many great areas around it for perfect for opportunities and selfies.

  Handicapped accessibility is lacking. It was raining and we got drenched waiting to go through security. The slope going into the lobby is brutal if you have a wheelchair to maneuver. To go up into the arch itself is not wheelchair accessible at all. The museum was closed for construction and we were directed to a temporary exhibit in a separate building which was a walk uphill in the rain and the building was also not accessible and they knew we had a wheelchair with us when they directed us.

  I lived in St. Louis for years and adored the riverfront/landing. Walking distance from the stadium, decent parking, and the museum under the arch is really well put together.

  It was a cool sight to see, but make sure you have time to wait in lines if you want to do anything or go up in the arch.

  A great tourist spot. Our first visit to the famous arch, and we were pleased that we saw it. The banks of the Mississippi are easily accessible, and the whole area has a laid back feel to it. The only downside ... on our visit the arch itself wasn't accessible as today was the first day of the federal government "shutdown" and the elevator to the top was closed. Too bad. Still had a blast.
