Sports Basement is awesome for rentals! No need to clog up your closet with camping gear; they've got it all for rent.

I love that Sports Basement occasionally hosts active community events to support local athletes and the SF community at large. This is not the only thing that keeps me coming back, but it is what compels me to always come back to be a customer at Sports Basement. I always come here to rent my snowboarding gear and add on the lift ticket as well. It's a good deal! If you are a regular, you can check into their system, which will have all your prior snowboarding equipment information. This helps to expedite your rental process. The staff have also always been really friendly

Awesome gear, great prices and a super easy rental process. They had brand new ski boots for only $15 extra that were worth every penny. Went back to drop off and picked up some great northface gear for 50% off. 10 stars, heck I give them 100!

A huge store that sells good quality outdoor equipment. We came here to rent bikes. The worker was really nice and let us try the bikes. He made sure everything went smoothly and fast so we can get going on the bikes. the prices were also not that expensive.

The bikes were of good quality and the service was very friendly and prices reasonable. My bike unfortunately didn't shift into granny gear but that was fine; it did not have a bell either which are helpful because of all the foot traffic you are passing. Locks were provided but we had to remember to ask-a must do! I noticed some of the other bike rentals provided a handlebar bag and map and rear rack which would be nice. I would highly recommend renting here.
