  This company is the reason San Mateo residents don't have their ice skating rink at Bridgepoint. They suck.

  They want to close down an Ice Rink that has been a lifeline for skating enthusiasts in the Bay Area since the 90s. To compensate for that, they've offered to put in a SOCCER FIELD at a different location. I don't know if they realize this, but ICE ≠ TURF. A whole youth hockey organization will be displaced without the rink. This organization has been state champions and have even placed high in Nationals. A whole community of figure skaters will have to find a new home in a rink far away from their homes. Don't let big business take over the general interest of the public! SAVE OUR RINK
