  Love this place for the color. Absolutely wonderful art studios. A stroll on a lazy sunday afternoon is great here. Also, don't forget to get a coffee from the Daniel's coffee cart.

  Hidden treasure within the treasure that is balboa park. If you are a local or visitor you must stop by and enjoy at least 30 minutes if you like handmade things from local proprietors who have been here for a while.

  I loved this place it was fun, had beautiful art at every store/studio, the village even had a Squirrel that would come to drink water and eat seeds whenever at this space made for him. All employees or artist were very nice as well. They have art classes on Saturday if I remember correctly

  You can tell why this place holds a certain appeal with Americans: it is, indeed, very much like a picture of a “European” Village. However, as a European, the atmosphere here feels a little pretentious and the surroundings... inauthentic. Feels to me as though you’re walking around a Disneyland version of a Spanish coastal Touristic district. Only stopped by here briefly but it didn’t quite capture my heart the way I had hoped after hearing about it. Still enjoyed seeing the local artwork and artists’ studios though, that’s always a pleasure
