I LOVE LOVE LOVE this nail salon. The people are great and my nails are beautiful every time I walk out, seriously. I was afraid moving to MIA from NYC that I wouldn't find a place I am comfy in. NYC peeps will walk into any nail salon any time and then deal with it. "A meh manicure is better than no manicure at all." Mistakes happen at any salon, it is natural . We are just more forgiving of our "own" salon versus a salon we visit 1 time. This place will not disappoint you.

I do not live in Brickell and was looking for a spot close by to do my nails prior to an event. I found Spa and Nail online. I went in to get a gel manicure and a pedicure. The people were nice and I did not have to wait. My gel manicure was a total disappointment. The GEL started chiping a few days later (did not last a full week). The point of paying $70+ for a gel manicure+pedicure is that this doesn’t happen. Unacceptable.

I went in this past Saturday to get a fill in. Because I REALLY need a manicure I agreed to pay $45 plus tip since I was a walk-in. The tech was rude and kept saying how badly my nails looked. She said that she would fix them. She rushed through the job and they looked good enough when I left. I agree that when I walked in, my nails looked bad, but at least they lasted a week and a half. She fixed my nail only for it to last 4 days! As I was going through my purse this morning, the poor nail popped off.

yesterday I went to the saloon to make my foot and my hand with gel, the reception girl looked at my fingernail and charged me $ 77 for all the service in advance. when it came to my turn the lady who was going to do my nail complained that she had charged very little in front of me, this was the first moment that I did not feel comfortable because it seemed she was doing me a favor. As she was not happy about what had been charged in my nail did a terrible job where I will show the photo to prove. Not enough my first embarrassment I suffered the second because when I sat in the chair to make the foot with another person she said she would have to charge me even more. I informed her that I would not pay more because before I did the service I asked how much it would cost and they charged me for everything.

I started going to Spa Nail Fever because how convenient it was to where I work/live. Overall I think the place is pricey. In the other hand I walk to the nail salon. I don't pay parking or gas which I guess compensates. I cannot vouch for everyone there but I can tell you that Maria really knows what she is doing. You can tell you has been doing nails for a while. She is my go to girl, I strongly recommend her.
