  Best fried chicken in STL, bar none. Always go with tenders. The mild style is perfect if you want a bit of spice. The medium style tastes great, but can be quite intense if dipped near the end of the hot oil bucket where spices are more concentrated. Fries, Mashed Potatoes and Mac are all solid side choices. Take my advice - skip an extra side and order a buttermilk biscuit. The blackberry jam is homemade and will leave you in amazement.

  They really have some great food here, served surprisingly quick. The place has a hip vibe, but the service was very polite. There's a guy working there that finds a table for your group while you order. It's mostly southern style chicken, but they have catfish too. If you don't want it spicy, order "original". "Mild" is the next step up and has some heat. The setup is fast casual, great quality food.

  Finally, St. Louis has their answer to Nashville hot chicken!! Very very good meat, juicy and delicious. I got medium level heat and broke a pretty good sweat! Fries are great and Mac and cheese is pretty good.

  The St. Louis answer to Nashville hot chicken. Huge quantities of chicken cooked to spiciness order and awesome sides. The line usually seems long but Southern has streamlined the ordering, waiting, eating process such that you'll have a table and chicken in no time.

  I was going through the pictures in my phone & realized I didn't post my review in January. The food was so good!!! The kind of catfish I've been missing! Sean explained the menu & was very attentive to us the entire visit. We were also given a complimentary order of chicken tenders. Awesome food...awesome experience!
