  Great environment for relaxing and reading or getting some work done. Lots of table and chairs and comfy couches if that's your thing. Their menu has the basic coffee house Staples and is all reasonably priced (4-6$ for a bagel or eggs on toast) good coffee as well and expansive tea selection.

  Fantastic space. Almost every seat is within reach of a power supply. This shop was built for the laptop user. Also, the employees are so cool and laid back, and happy to help. I'd come here every single day if I didn't live so far.

  The environment was great for late night studying and hanging out. A pretty chill vibe and local art filled the space. I'd go there regularly if I lived closer. My only complaint was with one employee who seemed to feel that I was an inconvenience.

  This is a really great 24 hour coffee shop. They have fresh baked pastries every time I go in, a generous menu of hot beverages on the wall and a food menu you can ask for. I've never had anything bad here. I'm a total sucker for the white Diablo, which is spiced white chocolate hot cocoa. There is usually a hum of conversations and a lot of people socializing and/or working.

  I come here whenever I need to burn through the night finishing assignments and studying for exams. The music is dynamic with few breaks which is perfect for quiet work. The tea selection is just varietal enough and the drink specials never disappoint. The staff are seriously one of a kind in both friendliness and skill. Everyone who comes in is warmly welcomed, treated like a friend, and served quality drinks. As long as you buy something and aren’t rude you can stay for many hours. As a result of the inviting environment, an occasional person will get a little too comfortable and their private behaviors come out - I witnessed a couple having sex in the corner once. They moved to the bathroom after a while and I had an unnerving revelation that the really cool painted bathrooms probably camouflage some scary stuff that goes beyond typical bathroom filth. I’ve also had my wallet stolen. This place is still the best coffee shop I’ve ever been to. There are always a few characters that want to see the world burn and they are just as welcome at SE Grind as me, and I guess, in the end, I kind of like that.
