::A hardworking artisan restaurant that deserves an excellent review for the excellent service and product they provide hundreds of new & return customers. Anyone that rates this place less than five stars was having a normal day within their “entitled consumer” outlook on life and tried to feel better about themselves by bringing others down. Don’t be one of those people. Enjoy the service provided to you by these hardworking locals... or go to Appleby’s with that entitled attitude.

::4.6 stars is a bit of an overstatement. Shells and cheese tasted like literal glue, Korean wings tasted like burnt sugar, sushi rolls were so coated in sauce that I couldn't taste anything else, cheese plate needed more than just huge chunks of cheese and white bread, the only redeeming quality was the lemon chicken skewers (cooked perfectly) and the cucumber Moscow Mules. We were kind of happy when our nacho order never came out. This place was highly recommended and I was left rather disappointed.

::The ONLY downside? The wait is long these days because the word is officially out about how amazing this place is. Every time I come to Charlotte I eat here, and I try to fit it in as many times as I can each trip. The menu is unique, the food is amazing, the tapas-style ordering is so fun, and the drinks are good too. My happy place!

::Soul paved the way in Plaza Midwood for good food. With a shifting menu of excellent drinks and small plates, Soul always offers up something deliciously new. The service is always friendly with a smile, the food is always excellent, the drinks are always top notch, and the industrial/rustic ambiance is warm and inviting. Serving food till midnight, it's a great place for a late night date. That being said, don't expect a quiet atmosphere, or to be seated without a wait on a Friday at 7.

::I went here for late night cocktails and it was the highlight of my night. The drinks are well crafted and the bartender gave an amazing recommendation for the type of whiskey for my drink. I would recommend their cocktail menu to anyone. Also been here other times for food and loved everything I've tried so far. It's a small plate restaurant/high end bar so expect to drop some cash but totally worth every penny.
