Darlina Marie is a good instructor of Tribal Belly Dance. However, Tribal Belly Dance is not really belly dance at all. It is a fusion sort of dance with elements of belly dance mixed in. The main focus in this class every week, without fail, is zills. It is annoying. Think of it from the perspective of the audience. Are zills actually entertaining? No. Regardless of the song that is playing, there is a specific zill rhythm that will cover it up with that obnoxious and redundant *clack clack clack* sound. It adds nothing but takes away everything. Also, this style of so-called belly dance is all about group choreography. Forget about those sexy, womanly dance moves you have seen in belly dance videos on YouTube. None of that exists in this class. Never. It is incredibly disappointing. But one thing that is frustrating is the fact that I know Darlina Marie is capable of performing actual, authentic belly dance. She does it when she performs alone. She does not use those ridiculous zills or predictable choreography when she dances alone. If only Darlina Marie could teach this Tribal Belly Dance class once per week for those who prefer this style and also an authentic belly dance class once per week. She is talented and equally skilled in both styles. Please consider this, Darlina Marie.

Wonderful dance and fitness studio, with both an amazing bellydance teacher and yoga instructor.

They offer high-quality classes at very reasonable rates, much better than being a gym rat! Some of these classes you can't find anywhere else in the city, which makes it even better!

Good Capoeira. This Martial art will shut down all the others and such a rich history! The instructors were friendly. I was able to leave me child and grab a quick coffee and all my kid talked about for the rest of the day was "went we going back to the Brazil class, dad?!" Cool Spot.
