  Great House Beers. I recommend the IPA. Cool light up bar. Great second stop after fine dining in downtown.

  If you come here hungry, bring a Snickers bar. We ordered appetizers 30 min ago. Still waiting. And starving. **UPDATE** 45 min later our food came. Appetizers never made it. Drinks are empty. Only 2/3’s of our party got our meals. The other person didn’t get his food until we were all done. Food was good but the piss-poor service made it an unenjoyable meal. The couple next to us got tired of waiting and just left. With so many places to eat down here, I don’t think we will be back.

  Great food, great atmosphere, and great service. Right along side the park in Petco Park made for a cool dinner experience during the Padres game. The burger and mac & cheese were both wonderful, but what made our experience great was the service from one individual. She was not a waitress, but simply clearing tables. She was so polite and checked on us even though she was not serving tables. Our table was very wobbly on the back deck, so she went out of her way to grab some shims to level it out. This woman alone made the service exceptional, she was working much harder than everyone else there. I wish I caught her name so I could give her a good shout out. She was a short, short dark haired woman. Very polite, and hard working.

  Great place for watching TV - lots of TVs that can be seen from any seat. Relaxed atmosphere. Good selection of draft beers. Food was just OK. I has the burrito, which was not that flavorful. It came with chips and salsa, and the salsa was meh. Service was not good, even though it was a very slow night. Our server just disappeared after we asked for water, never to return. Another server eventually took over the table, and thankfully she was more attentive.

  Social Tap is one of my favorite bars in downtown San Diego. It has a good beer selection, lots of TVs, and good food. The staff is fantastic and really makes you feel at home. I highly recommend Social Tap for watching a sporting event or just a casual night out.
