  Do not order from this company online unless you are 1000% sure you won’t have to return anything. Even if it’s defective, you’ll be paying a ridiculously high shipping rate with no help from the company. Ordered a $38 pair of cleats for my daughter that didn’t fit, paid Soccer Loco $8 in shipping and now have to spend $12 to get them back. 🙄

  Shopping for soccer cleats has become one of my most dreaded retail experiences with my children thanks to Soccerloco. It's not the staff who work in the stores, it's the entire business model that makes this one of the worst companies I can think of. They send you emails advertising sales to get you into the store. BUT, they only carry 1-2 pairs of most models of cleats in each size. (I'm not making this up...I have been told this by employees!) Naturally, they don't have your size when you get there in any of the mid-priced cleats, so your kids want to try the most expensive pairs that are obviously excluded from the sale. They must carry a few more pairs in those options because those seem to miraculously be available. Then the kid/parent battle begins. They may have more selections online, but who wants to try on cleats that way? Not only do you have to pay for shipping, you have to return them for store credit. No refunds. Also, this is not only the case during sales. When your kids need cleats because the old ones are too small or worn out, it may not be timed right with a sale..but they never have decent stock on hand. I have experienced this at Carlsbad and Mission Viejo locations, as well as San Diego. Sadly, there seem to be no good options for brick and mortar stores to try-on and purchase cleats. I can only hope someone out there will someday present a better option for the growing So Cal soccer population.

  We ordered online as directed by our soccer league and it took over one month to receive part of the order. We were told they are still waiting on the other portion of the order (socks) to be sent by the manufacturer (Under Armor). It would have been nice to know the item was Not in Stock at the time of purchase instead of having to wait over a month and still waiting. Unfortunately there are other players in the league who are also waiting for shirts and shorts and will not be in uniform for team pictures. Would never shop online with this company again.

  We love Soccerloco. We only wish it was closer to our home, but that's not a complaint. It's worth the drive to get the best. The other comment on here about not accepting refunds (exchange only) is true, at least about shoes. Maybe other stuff too. I noticed during checkout recently that the cashier actually notated that they verbally told me about the policy after explaining it to me. I thought that was cool. We've been long time customers with 3 girls in club soccer and have been told this before. So not sure what the other poster was about, except ticked off about not getting a refund. Not cool to mark as 1 star though. We like the store, the staff, the vibe and product selection.
