The hash browns were heavenly. I loved my Sams scramble. My daughter ordered the lemon blueberry pancakes. When they came out they had no blueberries. We were informed they were out of blueberries. Even though they gave her strawberries when they saw she was unhappy. It would not have been ordered if we had been informed of no blueberries. Service was slow and not real friendly.

It's a cute place- my mom ordered Sam's scramble and it was delicious. Especially the hash browns. I ordered the Pancakes of the month (Blueberry lemon) But when the food was brought all there was was 3 pancakes with powdered sugar. When questioned about the blueberries I was told they were out. Strawberries were an okay substitute but I would have ordered something else if I was told. Really not happy about that situation. Red hot white mocha was okay but tasted more like a cinnamon latte. Not terrible.

We went in early April around 10:30 am on a Monday and had to wait 15 minutes for a table. But it was worth the wait. The stuffed French toast is heavenly but very rich. We also had a breakfast burrito that was really tasty, and full of good things. Most of the wait staff were very friendly.

The ambiance was one of the most welcoming that I have experienced since I moved to Anchorage. It was busy, but the waiting area has plenty of space and self serve coffee. I had the deadliest catch and it was delicious, especially the salmon. The service was perfect and they even offered a to-go coffee!! I will definitely be back.

It's busy. Like an almost constant stream of at least low level busy. Which can also be seen as a decent indicator of its character. I prefer the Salmon Cake Benedict, as it works quite well for a brunch/breakfast fare. The hash browns aren't exactly in the manner that I'm a personal fan of, but merging them with the excess hollandaise made them quite palatable. Definite spot to see if you're visiting the city for a few days.
