  I walked into the dealership the salesman John was excellent with me and did not pressure me to but. He worked how i wanted to get my purchase done. Driving out from Queens to Smithtown is a long trip. Gerard took great care of me in matching my loan offer and got me a better deal. The trade in was fair and reasonable. Thank you for making my experience a pleasant one and will be shopping in the future.

  Tim A. is the man! I have to admit I did not expect Kia to meet my demands for a used SUV. Kia and Tim came through and were on point throughout the whole process. Loving the 2014 Sorento. My 3rd car from this dealership and 95% of experiences are positive.

  **EDIT** I am editing my review from 1 star to 3 based on events that took place after I made the original. I'm still not happy that it took me 4 phone calls to even get a response to my problem, but the general manager did react after the fact and made things right. So I'm very appreciative about that. His staff still leaves very little to be desired. The receptionist who basically ignored my plea's to speak to someone. And the finance manager for never giving an upset customer a call back. But the GM assures me he spoke to his team. Only time will tell if anything has changed. Once my request finally made it to him, Lenny the GM did spend a lot of time making sure my issue with Kia Finance was resolved and handled it personally. So that is a good sign. As a manager myself, I understand how customer service is supposed to work. Lenny did a fine job after the fact, but he needs to make sure his team doesn't let it get to the boiling point in the first place. Look forward to continuing my relationship with this dealership.

  I am giving this dealership 5 stars solely because of the assistance of Gerard Rennie. This guy is among one of the most personable people I've ever met. He will answer any question you have and will even go out of his way to make your experience the best it can be at Smithtown Kia. Even when you have some down time waiting for papers he will keep a conversation and make you feel like you've known him for years! This guy really is great and would highly recommend asking for him as soon as you walk in if you want a guaranteed pleasant experience!

  Excellent experience. Will definitely be a returning customer. Gerard Rennie is the most pleasant salesperson I have ever worked with. Professional, never pressuring or demanding, and very accommodating. This is my third Kia lease, my first with Smithtown. I will definitely be returning to them in three years when I need to do my lease return. We walked out with exactly what we wanted and some..... There was no comparison between the dealer we used previously and Smithtown - far exceeded my expectations, where the old dealer truly disappointed. From the moment we first walked into the showroom we never felt pressured. We were greeted by a very pleasant receptionist (sorry I forgot her name) and then saw the Sales Manager Charlie who was also very pleasant and set us up with Gerard. Everything was explained to us from the operation and features of the vehicle to the lease information, servicing of the vehicle, etc. Gerard - you will be getting my recommendation to everyone I know. Thank you for this overall great experience
