  Smiles of Chevy Chase embodies class, professionalism, and courtesy in a clean, modern setting. From the moment that I stepped in, the friendly staff greeted me politely as if I were a long time friend and not a first time patient. Dr. McShane and Dr. Despina both came by and greeted me - both are kind, courteous, professional and polite doctors with exquisite chairside manner and friendly dialogue. As a fellow healthcare provider, not only was I blown away by their excellent charisma and kindness- I actually hope to incorporate some of their charming banter into my life. From start to finish, this is an exquisite, high end office that treats you like family and I cannot recommend this office enough. Thank you all for making a trip to the dentist a truly wonderful experience!

  Been going here for years. Best dentist in DC IMO. Dr. Marko is fantastic and personable, and the dental hygienists are all wonderful. The front desk is equally helpful. Easy to make appointments, never a long phone hold, and very helpful when it comes to new insurance/HSA/FSA stuff. They don’t try to oversell and when there’s a real oral issue they’re there to help and work with you. Good references as well if you need an oral surgeon.

  The staff are so welcoming and friendly at Smiles of Chevy Chase! They are a terrific team! My dental hygienist, Anne, is excellent. She does a great job and is gentle on the gums. Dr. Markosgiannakis is very knowledgeable and a pleasant person to boot. We are in the process of straightening my teeth using Invisilign trays. I feel very confident with her as my dentist.

  Dr. Marko is the best dentist I've ever had in my 60 years. She is brilliant, extremely up to date on new research, conservative in her care, honest, gentle, and incredibly skilled at her work. She is compassionate and a great listener as well. She treats her patients with an incredible amount of respect so I actually enjoy going to the dentist! She has a holistic problem solving approach that allows her to figure things out before other specialists do. I recommend her without any reservations at all. I would never see another dentist. Sue C
