  WELL! We found out why this place, right around the corner from the subway is called smashiess - it smashes your sandwich! In a good way! We got bagels with creamcheese and bacon - SMASHES! Tasty, made in front of us, and affordable!

  Iconic place here in Spanish harlem. Their foods are awesome and the flattened sandwiches are the best. Rod is the best dude there.

  Been going to this spot for about 20 yrs. Great sandwiches and customer service. It's still ran by the same guy! Happy to see other people enjoying this place as much as I have.
