  Smart barber is right!!! Bella knew exactly what I was approaching towards. She took her time and payed much attention to detail. Highly recommend these guys.

  Have been getting my hair cut by Eli for the last 3 years, and I followed him from his previous LES spot to his new shop here. He is great regardless of whether you have a very specific haircut in mind or if you are open to suggestions. Credit cards and mobile payments are accepted here too!

  It was 5 long, shaggy years in NYC before finding Eli, he's been cutting my hair for 6 years in the EV, and you can be certain I'll be making the ride up from Brooklyn for years to come. I have, what I consider, tricky hair to properly cut and style...thin in some spots, very thick in others, fine/frizzy, and curly at a certain length. Not only does Eli nail it every time, but he's even been able to suggest different looks over the years. He remembers my "usual" down to the details of the part and neck shape. Exceptional attention to the finer things including straight blade for the neck, edges, beard lines, and parts, and hot towels.

  I decided to go here on a whim and was not disappointed! Even though it was his first time cutting my hair, Eli did a fantastic job. Everyone in the area should definitely check this place out!! His pricing is competitive and customer service was top notch. I never write reviews online but I'm hoping that by doing this I can get Smart Barber more business - I hope they're around for a long time.
