  Charlie was awesome!!! He arrived on time, was very professional and answered all of my questions. He explained everything he was going to do prior to starting the job. Charlie was was also very neat while working and was respectful of my home. We had an issue with damaged travertine in our bathroom due to using a grout cleaner that claimed to be for natural stone, specifically travertine. It wasn’t - it damaged and stained it. Charlie honed it and resealed it. He was able to fix the problem and it turned out great, he also cleaned our ceramic tile floor in the kitchen and also recolored the grout. Lastly, he cleaned and sealed our granite counter tops and regrouted the backsplash. We highly recommend Sir Grout of Montvale and will call them for all future issues. If you are fussy and like things done correctly the first time with no drama, call them. You won’t be disappointed!

  After seeing the amazing results in Sir Grout's advertisements, I decided to call for a consultation. During the initial consultation, the owner, Jeff, was very charming and promised a lot. Unfortunately, not much was delivered. The job was supposed to take almost the entire day due to how much grout there was. I was surprised when it ended up taking just a few hours. Upon reviewing the job, I was shocked to see how poorly it was all done. The attached pictures show just how awful it looked. The tiles were more dirty than before. The grout in some corners and near moldings was not cleaned or covered whatsoever, and if it was, it was covered with a blob. After it all, I called the owner to talk about my dissatisfaction. I was surprised yet again, as the man who was so polite just a few weeks ago was suddenly so harsh and condescending. He kept repeating “What didn’t we do that was in the contract?” The problem was that the job was done poorly, not that everything wasn’t technically done. Furthermore, 3 months later, I started to see that the grout they put unevenly around the bathtub was rising up and peeling. This was simply a waste of money. Sir Grout is extremely expensive for their poor work quality and I do not recommend them at all!

  The owner Jeff Miller lacks integrity and seems to have a "the customer is always WRONG" attitude. I was highly dissatisfied with the quality of the work, even after a 2nd attempt to get it right, and he offered me a small refund ONLY if I agreed to post no bad reviews. He is essentially buying good reviews, so don't trust the good reviews! The work product was poor, is cracking and coming apart in just a few short months, and the way they treat customers is terrible. Beware!

  We are very happy with the work that was done. Mark explained everything & D'Andrea was neat & very professional. The floors were done right before the holidays & everyone who came to our house noticed it right away, both kitchen & bathroom. Definitely would recommend them which I already have to friends!
