This place was average. It was easy to find a table on a Friday night. Service was okay, nothing especially great or bad about it. You get a lot of food for the price, but it was pretty bland. The khao soi at Cha Yen in Watertown is 10,000 times better. I recommend anyone wanting really good Thai food go there before ever going here. Really, if you're nearby and want a decent dinner that will give you leftovers for the next day, this place will be fine, but the food was only okay. Also, the corner where we were sitting smelled like a bathroom, which was very off putting. Also off putting but slightly more amusing is the anatomically detailed statue of elephants mating up on a shelf in the back left corner of the restaurant.

Service could be improved. We were served food at different times, and the younger staff are nice, but I didn't appreciate how the older one simply dismissed our request of separate bills. The other staff accommodated us. The food was okay but not delicious.

Good Thai food. We had the pad see ew and a curry. The curry was disappointing because it did not come in a bowl, it came on a regular plate, so there actually wasn't all that much curry. The pad see ew was really good though, would definitely come back, but wouldn't get the curry again.

I regularly go to Similans for lunch. The food tastes amazing and seems pretty authentic. I especially like the "Tom Khai Gar" (chicken coconut soup) and the "Thai Friedrice". The service is decent, spice level good, and price affordable. Mind you, it's a little difficult to find a place during lunch as they are so popular and there's usually a wait. But it's worth it!

The atmosphere and service here was great. But don't expect authentic oriental Thai food. The food served has been modified to suit a Western taste. The ice milk tea was still excellent though.
