  The Sazerac was one of the best I have ever had and if Dan is there be sure you buy him a shot of Jameson. The record collection is outstanding you can bring your own record there and if you are nice they might play it for you.

  Great vibe, fun bar program, high energy. The bar food is amazing. Empanadas are great, but don't miss the fried bologna sandwich.

  A little hard to find, but maybe that's the point. The atmosphere is super cozy mid-century modern. Perfect classic cocktails for $10. Get the empanadas! You wouldn't expect a small bar to have such amazing food, but they do.

  While walking around the whirlwind of Deep Ellum, I happened to be in front of this bar and asked my friend, "What the hell is this place?!" The bouncer exclaimed, "Shoals: Sound and Service! We make fine cocktails and play good music. Come check us out!" Fair enough. A sign above doesn't state the name, and for good reason. Stepping in, the bar has an air and look of sophistication with nice ambiance and decor. Fast forward to 4 drinks in, Shoals made some of the best tasting cocktails I've ever had! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable and I highly recommend this place for a low-key, fine cocktail drinking experience!
