  If your in Anchorage you must see this during tide changes. Amazing doesn't even begin to describe it. Oh and the ice cream truck shows up in the afternoon

  Nice place to stroll and watch enthusiastic anglers in action. We were hoping to see some salmon and some fishing action so we went by the popular fishing hole at Ship Creek. We visited the Ulu Factory and the Ship Creek trail which is right behind the factory. There are paid parking right in front of Ulu Factory. A beautifully constructed and paved park. We saw lots of joggers during our visit. Fishermen line the stretch and repeatedly casting their line. Intriguing fishing technique, which I suspect is due to the water current. We didn't spot any fish nor any fishermen reeling in any, it was still an interesting sight to observe. This is the shoulder season and most of the king salmon have yet to arrive so we weren't able to spot any action. Believe this is going to be an amazing sight later in summer. Visit if you have time!
