  Really nice hotel with a pool that's open late. Rates are pretty good too when I stayed. Staff is friendly and the rooms are nice

  My family does holiday buffets instead of family meals at occassions like Xmas and Easter, etc. This place had the best in recent years, when we went for Mother's Day. Fresh, lots of selection, kind waitstaff, and similarly priced to others. Give em a go if you can't cook this holiday. Remember to make reservations!

  I was driving across the country back from college to Los Angeles and was just passing through Albuquerque for one night. I got a call at 12:15am notifying me my car had been broken into and my property had been stolen. My car's driver side back window had been broken. A computer monitor was stolen, and there was damage to other property including my newly earned diploma. It was the security guard who first noticed the brake in. He stated they only have video surveillance near the building and none watching the lot. He went on to add that they get break-ins about every 2 weeks in the summer. While I know the theft isn't Shearton's fault in any way, I'd figure they'd have bought a more robust security system due to the frequency of the theft. Beyond that, the room was fine and the staff was nice enough. I had to do a little more work than I should have to get comped for the night, but they eventually eased up. If you are planning on staying here with a loaded car, park as close to the building as possible.

  The bed was lackluster at best. You could feel every internal piece and it was not comfortable at all. Between the mattress and the almost non functional " air conditioning" which is basically a cold water system. When asked the building engibeng said that they had not turned down the temperature of their chillers yet. So needless to say we didn't sleep very well the two nights that we were there. To be fair the staff was very responsive and pleasant and the hotel is in a great location. You have to consider the age of the building.

  Always a pleasant stay! But even better that the staff are professional and honest people! I left my Apple Watch in the room and checked out. I didn’t even realize that I had lost it. Housekeeping turned it in and they contacted my husbands employer to let him know we had left something behind. I’m extremely thankful that they went over and beyond to get it back to me. Amazing customer service!
