  Was there on a weeknight and had a good time. Got a good crowd around 10pm. Food was good but could use a few more beer choices.

  ERIN GO BRAGH!! Shay McElroy's is a quaint Irish bar right in the heart of downtown Houston. We've been here several times and have always gotten spectacular service. They know the secret to pouring a perfect Guinness...yes, there's a specific way and most bars don't know how to do it. But Shay's knows what's up. The is outdoor seating for some great people watching, too. SLÁINTE!!!

  Friends told me about Shay McElloys and a have to admit I was skeptical. But the atmosphere was great and I had a blast. So much that I said I was going back and did. Angeleque and Natalie were amazing.

  This is one of the longest running bars in the downtown area. A standard Irish pub with an awesome staff and management team. This is certainly an amazing place to share drinks with friends and perhaps make new ones. The bartenders are great! Gotta check out the ongoing specials they have...and Karaoke on Tuesdays! Shay's is always certainly a stop over for any big weekend downtown plans that include a great time.
