  Up Front: It's obvious, even to a layman, that the office and the equipment are a bit old/worn, though well-maintained and clean. Assuming this isn't a dealbreaker for you (it's not for me), this is one of the best dentists I've ever been to. Neither Dr. Shapiro nor the dental hygienist lectured me about my teeth, even though I hadn't been to a dentist if four years. They explained everything that was wrong and everything that was going on, as well as what they were going to do about it. They were extremely patient with various neurotic issues I had during each visit. (I sometimes can't breathe through my nose and it's difficult for me not to swallow all the time). This is an experienced dental practice with excellent bedside manner. Can't recommend them enough.

  This was my first visit to Dr Shapiro and I couldn't be happier. Got an appointment within a week of my call. Erika, my dental hygenist, was very friendly, very gentle and explained everything she was doing. Dr. Shapiro was very thorough and gentle. Explained all procedures and treatment recommendations. Very happy to find someone so close to work.
