    I went in yesterday for a colormatch for the Lancôme foundation and I asked this girl if she could do it and she just literally went and grabbed the first foundation she saw and put it on me just like that. She didn’t even match me with the little machine or tried different color foundations she just tried one. Prefer going to Ulta for a colormatch..

    I disagree with the naysayers, they always treat me kindly at this store. I’d like to publicly praise three associates in particular who went above and beyond in helping and being knowledgeable. I frequently shop for fragrances and I’m often helped by Grace. She is very friendly and kind, even goes out of her way to help you. I extremely recommend her especially when it comes to choosing men’s fragrances. Another two I’d like to mention is Ashley and Melba, Ashley really knows her stuff. Even on products that aren’t even in the store. She has quite a nose in knowing different notes in the fragrance and will recommend another fragrance that’s similar if they don’t have it. Melba is also great, she will suggest new ones to try and recommend her personal favorites. Iv rarely met such kind fragrance staff as the ones at Sephora and I’m a fragrance collector so I would know. These girls definitely deserve to be recognized for very high customer service.

    I think everyone should be careful when it comes to using gift cards at this store.(Sephora inside of cielo vista, El Paso TX.) I went in with 2 gift cards, one had $50 and the other had $25, I had called to check prior to going. When I was ready to pay the cashier (Brianna) swiped both and and then told me one didn’t have money and threw it in the trash immediately, telling me I should tell whoever got it that they gave me a gift card with no money. I was really confused and in a hurry so I just said okay and paid cash for the rest. On my way out I decided to go back to the register and ask for it back. When I got there I asked for my card back and (Brianna) the cashier looked surprised to see me. She said “it’s already in the trash” and looked back at her manager (will), he then said that the “card was empty”. Another employee then came up to the register with a clear trash bag and attempted to throw out the trash. At that point I stopped her and the manager (Will) reached into the trash bin and tried to give me a card that wasn’t mine saying “they’re all empty anyways”. Finally I demanded my card back and called the number on the back and sure enough there was $25 dollars on it. When I proved to them that there was money on it they tried telling me that it wasn’t showing on their computer. I was really upset and I didn’t believe them so I asked the manager (Will) for his name and for the cashiers name because she had disappeared to the back. Finally after receiving their names I left the mall and once in my car I called the number to customer service and asked them to check and see if there was something wrong with my card and they said no and that it should work at any sephora. I also learned that they shouldn’t just be throwing “empty” cards away and should be asking everyone if they’d like to keep it or not. It’s so sad to think that these employees might do this or have done this to other people. Yes it was only a $25 gift card but it’s not so much about the money but just the idea that these dishonest employees more then likely are stealing from other people who don’t complain or say anything about it. It’s pathetic and unbelievable. I spend so much money there and get treated like that, there’s something wrong there.

    I am an AVID Sephora lover but this store is the exception. They really just watch you because they suspect you're stealing when I probably purchase more than $100 there a month. The manager is very rude. The people can sometimes be nice other times they are rude as hell. They rush to get you out of there. Very hit and miss, NEVER consistent. Will be making all my purchases online from now on.
